Aluminium Bronze is Copper-Aluminium alloy where Aluminium (5-11%) is the main alloying element added to Copper. Aluminium bronze alloy has higher strength and corrosion resistant compare to other bronze alloys. They form tough layer of Aluminium oxide on the surface which gives them higher corrosion resistance. It makes them preferable to other engineering materials and their applications includes Bushes (plain bearings), valve components, underwater fastenings, ship propellers and also used in engine components because of their low reactivity to sulphurous compounds and other combustion exhaust products.

CuAl10Fe2-C AB1 Cu 83,0 - 89,5 Al 8,5 - 10,5 Fe 1,5 - 3,5 Material with high strength and elongation. For High wear and shock loads. Resistant to seawater and corrosion. Mechanically stressed parts, pinions, plain bearing(bushing), bearings and bevel gears.
CuAl10Fe5Ni5-C AB2 Cu 76,0 - 83,0 Al 8,5 - 10,5 Ni 4,0 - 6,0 Fe 4,0 - 5,5 High-strength building materials. Good castability. Seawater, cavitation, heat and corrosion resistant. Good wear resistance. Good weldability. Low susceptibility to cracking. Heavy-duty plain bearings (bushings). Worm and helical gears for high pressure conditions. Hot steam fittings, fittings for aggressive water, pump housings, gear and bevel gears, chain wheels, die holders, gear nuts, actuating levers, sealing flanges, cable clamps, sewing machine parts, gear parts, die holders.
CuAl10Ni3Fe2-C Cu 80,0 - 86,0 Al 8,5 - 10,5 Ni 1,5 - 4,0 Fe 1,0 - 3,5 Building material with good strength properties, seawater resistant. Very good weldability. Hardly solderable. General mechanical engineering, pump construction, gear construction, food industry. Parts at risk of corrosion, valves for aggressive water, flanges for shipbuilding, slide bearings (Bushings).
